Live Love Work Play
Live, Love, Work, Play
A conceptual project in the ID Senior Capstone course, where individual students investigated modern and historical social and cultural outlooks on the four subject areas: Live, Love, Work, and PLAY – with PLAY being the key driver of the project.
This project included collaborative involvement with Professor Remî Leclerc of Hong Kong Polytechnic's PolyPlay Lab as a key element of the discovery process during the project.
Diving Re-breather
Inspired by trying to live closer to nature, recreation, and feeling at one with the sea, this project integrates the Aquaman Crystal technology into a small profile rebreather. Getting rid of tanks, regulators and all the other paraphernalia that make scuba diving feel daunting, this concept reduces the amount of equipment while still maininting life for the user.

Inflatable Surfboard
Recreation, travel, and lightly living inspired this concept for a portable, inflatable surfboard with a structural foam skeleton. Surf culture abides by a law of temporariness, enjoyment, and reverence for nature. This concept embraces all of those things and more. The interaction with the product is easy enough for an entry level surfer to use and encourages trying out more waves, anywhere one happens to be.

Interactive Wooden Toys
Play is even valuable in discovering childhood disabilities. This concept, based on research and studies done with autistic children integrates texture, weight, scale, and play into learning. Programable objects can be managed by parents and doctors alike, thereby increasing the discovery of autism in children at an earlier age.
